FINTRAC's Regulatory Expectations in 2022

TCAE is excited to invite Jacqueline Shinfield to the very first session of the TCAE Knowledge Series for 2022.

We will start off the year with her insights on regulatory trends and expectations in 2022 - with a specific focus on the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre (FINTRAC) regulatory landscape.

On June 1, 2021, FINTRAC’s new expectations came into effect. Most notably impacting virtual currency dealers and electronic fund transfers (EFT), as FINTRAC began assessing compliance with the Regulations.

In 2022, FINTRAC will begin assessing compliance with the amended Regulations.
